WESTMINSTER, MA – Thomas C. Duncan (73), of Westminster, MA passed away on April 25, 2025 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, MA, surrounded by his loved ones.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Francine (Larimore) Duncan; daughter, Laura Duncan Burgund and her husband, Halsey, and their precious children, Duncan Burgund and Julian Burgund; son, Michael J. Duncan; his brothers and sisters, Spencer Duncan and wife Nancy, Gretchen Jones and husband Walter, Rebecca Borland and husband Bruce, Ruth Breunig and husband James, and Philip Duncan and wife Wendy, extended family and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Duncan and mother, Jean M. Duncan.

Tom was born in St. Charles, IL on August 7, 1951. He graduated from North High School in Worcester, MA, Class of 1969. Tom served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Westminster VFW and American Legion. Early in his working years he was known as “Mr. Fix-it”. He later enjoyed a career as an IT Software Engineer.

Tom was a happy man, a man of faith, and had a life-long passion for music. He enjoyed singing and playing his many guitars and other instruments in bands and with church worship teams, skiing, biking, and watching sports. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and found fun in everything he did. He often ended sentences with a laugh. He was happy to find that his genealogy goes back to the Duncan families of coastal Maine. He had always been drawn to the ocean and boats, like generations before him.
