Obituary of Thomas V. Kurth
In Loving Memory of
THOMAS V. KURTH
Born December 3, 1945 - Passed on March 27, 2025
Funeral services will be held at Fort Snelling Chapel, 1 Tower Ave, Mpls, MN 55450 on Wednesday April 16,2025 at 10am.
Honor Ceremony will be at National Fort Snelling Cemetery 7601 34th Ave. S Mpls, MN 55450 at 1pm
There will be a reception following the service at Tavern 13 at 2510 Horizon Drive Burnsville, Minnesota, 55337

Soloist: Annie Miners
Survived by his wife, Anita Kurth, children Lonnie, Tommy, Lisa (Larry), grandchildren Jesse (Ashley), Travis, Mitchell, Ruby, Tallulah, Amanda, great-grandchildren Olive, River, Clover and Marley.
Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Elsie Kurth, siblings Kevin and Debbie, son Bobby and grandson Joey.
Thomas passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on December 3, 1945, in Graceville, MN to the late Robert and Elsie Kurth.
Corporal Thomas Victor Kurth, served two years in the United States Marine Corps receiving an award for his marksmanship. He went on to work as a "Tinner" for many years and celebrated 50 years as a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #10.
Thomas was known by many as Tom, T.K., Tommy, Tommy the Tin man and Gamps. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing cribbage with his buddies. He loved traveling and exploring new places, including Mexico and Hawaii. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
