Jennings: It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our son, father, brother, and friend, Thomas Segura passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2023. Thomas was born in Lake Charles, LA on December 15, 1986, to Alfred J. Segura and Gloria Jean Guillory. Thomas was a lifelong resident of Jennings. Where he cultivated friendships that lasted his entire time on earth. He enjoyed being in the outdoors playing basketball, football, and spending his time with children, family, and friends.
Thomas was an absolute joy for those who considered him a friend. He was a kind and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his parents, Larry and Gloria J. Guillory of Jennings, LA; his father, Alfred J. Segura of Crowley, LA; his three sons, Zion Amir of Houston, TX, Sincere Thomas of Lake Charles, LA, Thomas Genaro of Houston, TX; his daughters, Tamika Lashae of Jennings, LA, Jazayla LaShae of Allentown, PA; his brothers, Bryan Montgomery of Crowley, LA, Brandon Montgomery of Crowley, LA, Swaine Zackary of Houston, TX; his sisters Shanna N. Cramer, College Station, Tx. Jacquelyn McDowell Houston, Tx, Diveda Segura, Gulfport, Ms; his life brothers Jeremy LeGros, Eric Gray, Gaven Williams, Derrick Hayley, Davonn Warren, Lance Wilson, Damon Garcia, Trevor Richard, Stacy Williams, James Pete, Ivan Lyons, Zedrick Lowdins, Trevor Richard, Alfred Lowdins and Rendivus Etienne. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Thomas 's life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM with Dr. Gregg S. Magee of Empowerment Ministries Christian Center in Gulfport, Ms. officiating.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM and continue until the time of his Service at 12:00 AM.
