Tom was born on October 5, 1961 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to George and Edna (Paddington) Smith. Tom graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Windsor and was a longtime Director at UBS until his passing.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Frances, with whom he married on June 14, 1986 and shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Michael, Christopher (married to Melissa), and Heather (married to Andrew). He was a proud and adoring grandfather of David, Aiden, Trevor and Noah.
Tom had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in camping, fishing and traveling. His favorite destination was the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, a place where he would embrace and create many lasting memories with his family. He was a true fan of the University of Michigan Football Team and treasured the time spent watching games with his family and friends. Known for his selflessness, Tom always put his family first. His thoughtful advice, unwavering kindness and devotion to those he cared about will never be forgotten. He touched the hearts of many with his generous spirit and profound love for his family.
In honor of Tom's wishes, no services will be held at this time.

Tom so proud of his wife and family. So thrilled to see them married and adored his grandbabies. His heart so generous and helpfull to so many that you know through his amazing smile that Tom was a child of God. A loving Christian husband father grandfather and brother and friend. He will always be in my heart. He has even made heaven a little brighter.
