His life had always been about family, the church, community and farming. Tom was an amazing husband, an extremely proud father, dedicated family member, loyal friend and helpful neighbor. Everyone who met Tom was drawn to his love, friendship and humor. Tom was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Fort Plain, where he was on the church finance committee. Tom was active in the community and involved with the advisory board for SUNY Cobleskill, he was a past member of the St. Johnsville Library Board and current member of The Fort Rensselaer Club. Tom was an avid Buffalo Bills and Boston Red Sox fan.
On July 10, 1999, he married his loving wife Laurie Goddard at the former St. James Catholic Church.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Weingart. Tom is survived by his wife Laurie; daughter Sydney; son Thomas; brother Charles "Chuck"; sister Julie; brother Eddie (Beth); sister-in-laws Linda (Scott) Blomquist; Donna (David) DeLuca; Julie (John) Washburn; mother-in-law Barbara Krutz; as well as many other family members including his Aunt Louise; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial mass will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2024, 10:00AM at Our Lady of Hope, Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
