Thomas Wheeley

Thomas Wheeley, born on September 6, 1963, in Burlington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his hometown on April 10, 2025, at the age of 61.
Thomas was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life. He found great joy in spending time outdoors with an ice-cold beer in hand, soaking in the beauty of nature. A fan of NASCAR, he could often be found cheering on his favorite drivers. His love for communication extended to his fondness for CB talk radio, where he engaged in many lively conversations over the years.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas and Shirley Wheeley, and his dear sister, Teresa Wheeley.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly, including his brother, Timmy Wheeley, and his special sister-in-law, Bonnie Wheeley. He is also survived by his cherished cousins, Sharon McDonald, Mark Baize, and Jimmy Baize, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Thomas will be remembered by family and friends for his warm spirit, love of life, and the joy he brought to those around him.
