Timothy J Deemie, 35, of Endwell, passed away very gently surrounded by his loving family on December 6, at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton NY, after a short period of Hospice care.
Tim is survived by his parents Gregory and Julie (Arnold) Deemie, Brother Bob Deemie, Grandmother Meryl Deemie, Uncle Steve Deemie, Aunts Joann (Jim) Abbott, Dawn (Jim) Gill, Pam Spadavecchia, Karyn Dutton, Pat Arnold and many beloved cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved brother Chris, Grandparents Herb and Donna Arnold, Grandfather Robert Deemie, Great Grandparents Ken and Gen Friedah, Uncles Mike and Boyd Arnold.
Tim grew up in Windsor, NY and attended Windsor Schools until he transitioned to St. Joseph's School (Endicott) in the fourth grade. He graduated from Seton Catholic Central High School in 2007. Tim liked to keep busy and active by participating in tennis, gymnastics, skateboarding, baseball, track and field (hurdles) and developed a strong bond with golf that would become a lifetime passion, something he was very good at.
He studied Golf Course Management at Delhi College. From there he ventured on to live and work in Alpharetta GA while attending Chattahoochee Technical College. He then found an opportunity to travel the country while working hard alongside a commercial carpeting company.
Tim moved back north to settle again in the Triple Cities. He worked for many years in the Olum's Warehouse and then as a Hershey Ice Cream route driver, working many long, hard hours. Tim found his calling as a barber in 2020, joining the team at Studio 11 in Endwell NY as one of the original 8 barbers. Barbering was a career he not only excelled in but loved.
Tim was a one-of-a-kind, thoughtful, caring, and fun-loving soul. He was always family first and then it was fun. He enjoyed four wheeling, motorcycles, decking out his Honda Civic Sport, spending time with his many friends and barber teammates. Tim loved going to Animal Adventure in Harpursville, cooking, and barbequing, sharing meals with family and friends. He enjoyed watching the Food Channel, even when he could not eat. Tim enjoyed setting off fireworks and viewing them on the 4th of July, especially at the family cottage at Laurel Lake PA. Most of all Tim loved the Christmas Holiday, especially in giving thoughtful gifts to those he loved.
Tim fought a four-year battle with aggressive Colon Cancer. He endured many surgeries and always wanted to return to his passions of barbering and golf, no matter how draining and painful. He was determined to beat his cancer and fought hard, with resilience and bravery. Tim literally never gave up.
Timothy's family is grateful for the care he received at the Guthrie Clinic and Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre PA, since 2021. Oncologist Dr. Joyson Poulose, Jen Schecter, the infusion center staff, his Palliative Care Doctors Demane and Magruder, nurses and care partners of 9 SW and 5 Main, and the Cleveland Clinic (especially Dr. Brett Lashner). We would also like to thank the Guthhrie Lourdes Infusion Center staff (especially Mary and Racheal), and lastly Bre, Karisa, Mike, and Ryan of Guthrie Lourdes 1 West for their compassionate care for Tim during his final days of hospitalization at Guthrie Lourdes. You have all been angels to Tim and to his family.

Tim was always willing to help anywhere or any place he could. He was a great work mate and good friend. Our golf outings were great playing every course we could. And at the studio my grandsons always looked forward to seeing their uncle Tim they´d call him. I´ll miss you my friend but I know you´re not suffering and reunited with others you missed. Rest in peace Tim
