Timothy Ray Potter, 69, passed away at home with his family by his side August 26, 2024 in Galion. He was born August 14, 1955 in Galion, OH to Ernest Dale Potter and Amy June Potter.
He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1974 and while in high school he worked for Mike's Pizza. He also worked for Artesion in Mansfield, American Marble in Canton, and Massillon U.S. Technology and Covert in Galion.
He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Galion.
Timothy married Brenda (Brovont) on September 1, 2007.
Tim loved working on his 1950 blue Chevy truck. He enjoyed gardening, mowing his lawn. He loved his Lord immensely! And told everyone he could about his Lord Jesus Christ. He got along with everyone and was willing to help anyone that needed it. Timothy was a very hard worker who was loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Timothy leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Brenda Potter; children: Timmy Potter (Joanne), Aaron W. Potter (Kristie), Christina Miller, Aaron K. Taylor, and Kelli Taylor; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; brothers: Dan Potter (Cindy), Rick Potter (Sheila), and Keith (Bob) Potter (Jill); sisters: Debbie Bauer (Chris), and Pennie Fox (Bill); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday August 30, 2024 at Heritage Baptist Church in Galion with a service to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Noblit officiating. Burial will take place at Iberia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
