Timothy Edward "Tim" Shepard

Timothy Edward Shepard, age 49, of Naperville, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL passed away suddenly on Sunday October 5, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1976 in Hinsdale, IL. Tim was a devoted father to his smart and beautiful daughters Ruby Evelyn, Ella Rose and Raine Elizabeth (Cam).
Tim was a loving son to Sandra Jo of Lombard and David (Rich) of St. Charles and a witty brother of Michael (Heather). Tim was a fun/funny/cool uncle to Timothy, Andrew and Grayson Shepard and Madison and Morgan Sullivan. Tim had created a wonderful new chapter with his beloved girlfriend, Rebecca Mack. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Lucy and Joe Mantoan and Evelyn and Earl Shepard. Tim had many close friends, both old and new, that filled him with great love and joyful times.
Tim had a lifelong love of the outdoors, was a Certified Arborist and worked in the past at Sequoia National Park and Yellowstone National Park. He loved spending time with friends and extended family, loved live music, good food and Chicago sports. (For those that know Tim, Taco Bell and While Castle also get honorable mention.) Tim had incredible adventures and travel over his life and he brought laughter and humor wherever he went.
It goes without question that the role he cherished most was Dad. His girls were his pride and joy and they filled his heart every day.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, 2:00-5:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540. Casual Dress. Grateful Dead attire encouraged. Interment will be private.
