Timothy L. Stancil, 74 of Fremont, OH died Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born September 7, 1951 in Fremont, NC to the late Raymond and Ruby Lee (Capps) Stancil. He was a 1970 graduate of Ralph L. Fike High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1979. On December 28, 1976 he married the former Carlotta Royster and she survives.
Following his military service, Tim worked numerous jobs while supporting his family and his wife's career. In 1995, he began managing bowling centers for the Air Force, Army, and Navy. He was an avid bowler and PBA member for a time. Tim retired in 2017 and became an avid golfer. He loved being outdoors, fishing and gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family at home and vacationing.
Survivors include his wife, Carlotta of Fremont, OH; daughters: Jamie Torrenti of Poquoson, VA and Bridget (Christian) Brander of Brighton, MI; granddaughters: Jasmine and Joy Torrenti; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Ruby Rae Coleman and Betty Sherrod.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 1-3pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, Port Clinton Chapel, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton, OH 43452 followed by a Service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to Tunnel2Towers Foundation (t2t.org). Online Condolences may be shared with the family at www.neideckercrosserpriesman.com.
