Kristine “Tina” E. Hoernke, 74, passed away in her home on May 21, 2025. She was born on November 13, 1951, to her parents Robert and Elizabeth (Knight) Hantschel.
Tina was born and raised in the Fox Valley. She attended and graduated from Kimberly High School. She went to Fox Valley Technical College to get her nursing degree. She was passionate about being a nurse and loved to care for others. Going above and beyond coming out of retirement to help during the Covid pandemic. She also loved golfing. She had a special place in her heart for cats, even volunteering at an animal shelter. She was always with someone and enjoyed being involved in the community.
She is survived by her son Tyler (Rebecca) Creviere, granddaughter Kira, sisters: Jan Kading, Penny (Cal) Iles, Cherie (Gary) Perry; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents, late husband Charlie, sister Cynthia Power, brother Steven Hantschel.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Tina on Friday June 13, 2025, Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel 1592 S Oneida St. Menasha WI 54952. The visitation will be from 12-2 with a small service at 2pm.
