Dr. Todd William Peters

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dr. Todd William Peters DMD, age 67, of East Stroudsburg, PA who passed away on September 12, 2024.
Todd was born on January 14, 1957 in Shillington, Pa. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 45 years, Joanne (Brungo) Peters; children: Jenny, wife of Tyler Boeckel of Long Valley, NJ and Nicholas, husband of Nicole Peters of Westfield, NJ; grandchildren Mason, Henry, Audrey, William, and Ava; and his sister Donna, wife of Bob Wertz of Bernville, Pa.
He is predeceased by his parents; Donald and Jean (Matz) Peters.
He is a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He went on to study dentistry at School of Dental Medicine- University of Pittsburgh. He practiced dentistry for 38 years and ran his own dental practice for 31 years in Fleetwood, Pa.
In 2022 Todd retired and enjoyed spending his time at his home in the Poconos, as well as attending his grandchildren's sports games, recitals, and activities. He adored his grandchildren more than anything and could always be counted on for walking in the door with doughnuts for everyone. He was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman.
A Memorial service will be held at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 117 East Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA., on Wednesday September 18th at 11:00am with time to greet the family beginning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 591 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, an organization Todd felt strongly about. We will miss his warm smile, generous heart, and bright spirit.
