Todd R. Pewterbaugh

Todd R. Pewterbaugh, of Warrington, PA died on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was 60.
He was the beloved husband of 26 years to Judith Watson Pewterbaugh.
Born in Bristol, PA, he was the son of the late William Pewterbaugh and Elsie Diffenbaugh Pewterbaugh.
He graduated from Neshaminy High School (class of '81) where he juggled playing two sports throughout his high school career. He was a 4-year, All-Star, varsity Tennis player, and he played both JV and Varsity soccer for two years each. During his Varsity years, he was named All-Star Goalie. While at Slippery Rock University (class of '85,) Todd continued his goal-tending career. He was the Varsity Goalie for 3 years and was named to the All-Star, Second Team.
Never one to quit his favorite sport, Todd continued to tend goal in his post-college years for both the Phoenix and UGH soccer clubs in the over 30 league. Later, feeling like the next generation would benefit from his knowledge and love of the sport, Todd coached his daughter and dozens of young women at VE (Vereinigung Erzgebirge) and Warrington Soccer Girls Clubs.
Todd was a resident of Warrington, PA for 21 years. He worked as a claims adjuster for over 38 years and started his own company in 2015, Superior Adjustment Services.
Todd was much more than work and sports as he had a variety of interests and hobbies. He was tried and true, dedicated Philadelphia sports fan and most of all he was a faithful, Eagles fan. However, his favorite soccer team was not even close Philadelphia; Tottenham Hotspur F.C. was across the pond.
Outside of sports, and hard for most to believe, Todd loved good food and was a great cook. In fact, his specialty meal was Thanksgiving Dinner, a gift he loved sharing with his family every year and when it came to birthdays, it was always Yellow cake with Chocolate frosting. Todd was an animal lover, but also had the ability to make friends with people everywhere he went. He had the driest, sharpest, wittiest sense of humor ever – at least according to him – and the laughter on the soccer fields came from both his teammates and his opponents.
Todd went where the work was, but was often found holding his regular "Office Meetings" at Big Heads with his "best associates". Simply put, Todd was genuine, a guys, guy, a good friend, great husband, devoted father, someone who enjoyed life, good food, worthy competition and great friends. His spirit, passion and good nature will long be remembered and greatly missed.
In addition to his loving wife, Todd, is survived by his two children, Conor Pewterbaugh and his wife Eva of Manayunk, PA, Riley Pewterbaugh and her husband Ahmed Bouzzerri of Warrington, his brother Kevin Pewterbaugh and his wife Lisa of Woodbridge, VA and his sister Sharon and Richard Wodyka of Jamison. He is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws, friends and teammates.
His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 10:00am until a Time of Sharing, 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately. At the request of the family it is preferable that you come in Eagles attire or wear something green.
