It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tony Carlton Eley, a beloved son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Tony was born on August 28, 1962 in Suffolk, VA to the late Elsie Eley and Royal C. Eley, Sr.
Tony received his education from Windsor High School. He was employed by Amusement of America as an electrician for 20 years. He was preceded in death by brother, Horace (Sonny) McClenny (Doris); sisters, Alica Pearman (Arthur) and Jeanette Brown; and brother-in-law, Zelna Parson, Jr.
Tony leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Taniyah Gordon of Newport News, VA and Ciara Davis of Florence, SC; siblings, Boussen McClenny (Esther) of Bear, DE, Mary Parson of Ivor, VA, Royal C. Eley, Jr. (Mattie) of Suffolk, VA, James A. Eley (Cary) of Pasadena, CA, and Patricia Eley of Newport News, VA; an uncle, Emerson Powell (Judy) of Ahoskie, NC; two aunts, Sadie Copeland of Windsor, VA and Mary Powell of Franklin, VA; a devoted friend, Wendy Davis and family of Florence, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
