Tony Pippin, age 62, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his home, following a period of declining health.
Tony was born on February 11, 1962, in Orrville, Ohio to Sharon (Sevier) Nightingale and the late Larry Pippin. He graduated from Mac Arthur High School in 1980. Tony went on to further his education at Cameron University, where he graduated in 1983 with a music degree, and completed his paramedic training from Akron General Medical Center Paramedic Program in 1998.
He dedicated his career to serving others as a Paramedic, working for Orrville Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance Service, and HCA Houston Healthcare West.
Tony was a member of Patriot Guard Riders. He enjoyed music, riding his motorcycle, guns, and cooking.
In addition to his mother, Sharon, surviving are son, Travis (Chastity) Petkovich; mother of his child, Teri Petkovich; sister, Terry Pippin; two nieces, Elizabeth (Nick) Pippin, and Christina (Tom) Howman; and two great nieces, Everette Howman, Denver Hustead.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry V. Pippin.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on July 30, 2024, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, with Pastor Don E. Bolich officiating and will be live streamed at facebook.com/AubleFuneralHome.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Orrville Fire Fighters Association P.O. Box 144, Orrville, OH 44667 orrvillefirefighters.com.
