BRISTOL ---- Tracey L. MacLean, 41, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Gilford due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Providence, RI, as one of the twin daughters of Keith MacLean and Lena (Rego) MacLean. Shortly after their birth, the family returned to the Newfound area, where Tracey remained an active and vital part of the community.
Tracey graduated from Newfound Regional High School with the class of 2001. Soon after graduation, she started her family and her life has since revolved around her children and their activities. Known for her strong work ethic, Tracey was a secretary at Plymouth Regional High School during the day and drove for a non-emergency transport service in her spare time.
An avid photographer, Tracey was a fixture at sporting events for both Plymouth and Newfound Regional High Schools. Her photos captured every player, not just her own children, making them true team photos. She generously shared these with other parents, who greatly appreciated her efforts. If a parent couldn't attend a game, they could always count on Tracey to upload pictures, ensuring no moment was missed.
Tracey was a talented baker who delighted friends and family with her delicious cakes and cupcakes. She had a passion for motorcycling and loved spending time with her three Australian Shepherds: Maxwell, Ozzie, and Harley. Tracey was also a newly dedicated runner, recently completing her first marathon, a proud achievement in her family of runners. Her vast interests and hobbies reflected her vibrant personality. No matter what she was involved in, Tracey always went the extra mile to make things special and personal.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Hayleigh Pabst of Warren; two sons, Landon and Ryder Sargent of Bristol; her twin sister, Stacey Benken of Northern VA; her sister, Katie MacLean of Center Harbor; her brothers, Michael MacLean of Centennial, CO, and Joshua MacLean of Chicago, IL; her paternal great-grandfather, Fred MacLean of Bristol; her nieces, Abbie and Becca; and her nephew, Benny.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 12-5 pm at Newfound Regional High School, 150 Newfound Road, Bristol. At 2 pm, there will be an "Open Mic" time for anyone who wishes to step forward and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, a fund is being established to assist with the current and future needs of her children. Those who wish to contribute may do so through the GoFundMe account at https://www.gofundme.com/aa22n5-traceys-kids.
Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services/Emmons Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH is assisting the family with the arrangements. For more information and to view an online memorial go to wilkinsonbeane.com or emmonsfuneralhome.com.
