Tracy Barbara Billodeau, 52, of Sheldon, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 8, 2025.
Born on April 16, 1973, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Tracy was the beloved daughter of Reginald Billodeau and Donna Gramse.
She is survived by her brother, Jody Billodeau, and his wife, Michelle Greenan; her fiancé of 18 years, Dennis Reynolds; her stepmother, Sue Billodeau; her stepsisters Tanya Paquette and Lisa Glover; stepbrothers Travis Hill and Josh Gramse; stepsister Shannon Gramse; stepson Curt Reynolds and his fiancée, Morgan Arnold; and her two cherished grandchildren, Owen and Eli Reynolds.
She was a proud and loving aunt to Raeshelle, Miah, and Sophie Billodeau and Madison Turner. Tracy is also survived by her dear aunt Suzie Shappy/Snide and Uncle Tony Snide, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and generous spirit.
Tracy was predeceased by her parents, Reginald Billodeau and Donna Gramse; her stepfather, Art Gramse; her grandparents, Raymond and Barbara Devarney; and her cousins, David and Brian Shappy.
A 1992 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in
St. Albans, Vermont, Tracy worked at Ben & Jerry's, Perrigo, and provided childcare for many families. Her nurturing heart and natural connection with children made her a trusted caregiver and a second mom too many.
Though she longed to be a mother and endured several heartbreaking miscarriages, Tracy's maternal spirit never wavered. She poured her love into the children in her life, making everyone around her feel seen, safe, and loved. Tracy always listened without judgment, making it easy to confide in her.
Tracy had a deep love for people and a heart as big as her smile. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and unforgettable memories. A true animal lover-especially of her cats, who were her babies-she also had a green thumb, a gift passed down from her grandmother ("Mum"). She loved crafting with her nieces and grandchildren, creating lasting memories through shared creativity they inherited from her mother Donna.
Those who knew Tracy expected to be photographed often-she loved taking pictures and documenting every event, cherishing each moment. Her photos will help keep her memory, and the memories she created with us, alive in our hearts.
She found her true love in her fiancé Dennis. Together, they shared years of joy-spending time at hunting camp, watching movies, picking berries, and admiring flowers (often with Dennis in tow, lovingly along for the ride).
Anyone who knew Tracy knew she had no filter-and that was part of her charm. Her silly antics, free spirit, and unfiltered honesty made her real, relatable, and often hilariously unforgettable. A passionate motorcycle enthusiast, she attended Laconia Bike Week for many years and was always up for an adventure with her Aunt Suzie.
Tracy lived boldly. She was the life of the party, and her infectious smile could light up any room. As anyone close to her would say-everyone has a "crazy Tracy story."
Gone far too soon, Tracy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a world that was brighter, louder, and more loving because she was in it.
Celebration of Life A celebration of Tracy's life will be held at 52 Church Street, Sheldon, Vermont, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM. Please bring a tie-dye or purple balloon to help us celebrate her spirit!
