Travis P Fickling

Travis Phillip Fickling,86, of Pensacola, FL passed away at his home on June 14, 2025
He was born in Perdido, AL to Webb and Capitola Fickling. Growing up, Travis worked on the family farm, and it didn't take long for him to figure out that he did not want to be a farmer. As a result, he joined the United States Navy and then ended up working Civil Service Aboard NAS Pensacola as an Avionics Technician for most of his career before retiring.
Travis devoted his life to caring for his family. He asserted his time and attention to matters of the community that he believed would improve the quality of life for families.
He is preceded in death by his father, Webb Fickling; mother, Capitola Fickling; brother, Deitrit Fickling; sister, Vera Edwards; and son, Baby Fickling.
Travis is survived by his wife, Leah Fickling; sons, Shane and Kirk Fickling; daughter, Jill Fickling Conyers; grandchildren, Shay Kendall, Jireh Fickling, Alec Conyers and Alyssa Glen Hamlett; great grandchildren, Kaden, Jace, and Sailey Kendall. brother Charles Fickling and sister, Patricia Bryant. Leaves behind in-laws and out-laws and numbers of friends.
Those of you who knew him cherish those memories. Those who knew of him were fortunate.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 25, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Church at Pensacola. 1507 Creighton Rd. Pensacola FL 32504. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at 11:30 at Barrancas National Cemetery (Aboard NAS Pensacola)
