Travis Lee Guthrie, 35, of Orrick, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
Travis was born on July 14, 1986, in Independence.
Survivors include: mother, Gail Watson of Orrick; three beautiful daughters: Tristen Guthrie, Emily Guthrie, and Kenzlee Guthrie; two brothers, Hunter Guthrie and Colton Guthrie, both of Orrick; maternal grandmother, Georgia Kinne of Lowry City; a niece he adored, Adara Guthrie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and numerous lady friends.
He was preceded in death by father, Richard "Rich" Lee Watson, two brothers, Christopher "Chris" Guthrie and Alexander "Alex" Watson, paternal grandparents, Lowell and Adara Guthrie, step-grandparent, Bill Kinne, and step-grandparents, Bill and Evelyn Watson.
Travis was a hard worker; he was a millwright by trade. He had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others. Travis took charge of adopting the highway in honor and remembrance of his brother Alex. He was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Travis Lee Guthrie Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
Memorial visitation with memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 5:00 P.M., with services to follow at 6:00 P.M.
