Mr. Trenton Farish “Trent” Johnson, 39, of Hartsville, passed away Saturday morning, July 29th, 2023, while at Carolina Pines RMC.
A native of Hartsville, Mr. Johnson was a son of Kaye Flowers Johnson and Woody Johnson. First and foremost, Trent loved his daughter with all his heart. He would help anyone in need and enjoyed playing ball and the guitar. He was known as a “gentle giant,” but was a teddy bear at heart. Trent spent the majority of his career working with Walmart in management positions.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Allison Baynor of Winterville, NC; mother of Hartsville, father and step-mother, Tanya Johnson of Rutherfordton, NC; daughter, Scarlett Johnson; step-daughter, Abigail Turkovich; nephew, Tex Johnson; and numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Casey Johnson; aunt, Reesie Carter; cousin, Josh Howle; and his grandparents.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 on Tuesday afternoon, August 1st, 2023, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Pierce officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to A. A. Hut at 310 S. McFarland St., Hartsville, SC 29550.
