Tressa Kathryn (Sealy) Mote, 73, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, in Hot Springs. She was born on September 30, 1951, in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late Bro. William "Bill" Quay Sealy and Ruth Sealy.

Tressa was the devoted wife of Howard "Skip" Hill Mote, Jr. for 51 years, and a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughters, Casey Robin (Mote) Beard of Little Rock, Arkansas, and her daughter, Emma; and Kelsey Brooklyn (Mote) Robbins of Little Rock, Arkansas, and her husband, Ben, along with their children Kayley, Bella, Isaac, Nate, Graham, John Brock, Champ, Rocco, and Sam. She is also survived by her stepson, Christopher "Chris" Stanton Mote of Celest, Texas, his wife, Robin, and their children Jacqueline and Travis, along with Travis' wife, Jennifer.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Dianne Sealy and Sherylyn "Shery" (Sealy) Smith and her husband, Brent, and their son, Kyle, as well as a host of family-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends that were like family. Tressa was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Bill Sealy, and a nephew, Justin Smith.

Tressa lived a vibrant life filled with love, loyalty, and faith. She delighted in collecting and sharing beautiful primitive antiques and "treasures," cooking and baking for her family and friends-especially her famous pound cake and crepe pancakes-and filling her home with loudly playing country music and laughter. She enjoyed staying connected with friends through Facebook and text, the occasional visit to Oaklawn, and traveling to the Gulf Coast, where she loved the good food, shops, and white sands along 30A.

Above all, Tressa will be remembered for her selfless gift of loving and caring deeply and fiercely for others. She embodied strength, loyalty, and responsibility. You wanted her on your side. She was a God-fearing, devoted woman who gave herself fully as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was also the best pet mom. Tressa's influence touched more lives than she ever knew, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. There is solace in knowing she walks along the white sands and wades in the blue waters of Heaven, where the soothing sounds of the ocean free her from the discomfort she had on earth. She eternally lives on as one of God's cherished angels and no doubt keeping them all in line.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Tressa Mote on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Carruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Rd., Hot Springs, AR 71913. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. In memory of Tressa Mote, contributions may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486 or MDAnderson.org/Gifts , in lieu of flowers. Finally, the family extends their sincere appreciation for the love, care, and condolences you have poured over them during this time of loss and grief.
