This is the touching story of a special little boy, Ty'Shawn Antone Rich Collins, who lived a life that was full of joy, wonder, and love - a life that touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

He was the precious son of Libby Leanna Marsha McCoy and Shawn Antone Collins, born in Springfield, Illinois, on January 19, 2021, and entered into Heaven on August 8, 2025, passing in Springfield, Missouri.

Ty'Shawn always had a big smile - the kind that could light up an entire room. His heart was even bigger. He gave love freely and fully, wrapping those around him in his warmth and joy. Ty'Shawn had a sweet little voice that could melt hearts.

He adored his siblings. His sister, Royalty, was his best friend, his partner in dress-up, dancing and singing, and adventure. Ty'Shawn looked up to his big brother, Jeremiah, with the kind of admiration only a little brother can give. Ty'Shawn always wanted to be close to his siblings. He loved his siblings with all of his heart.

Ty'Shawn had a wild, fearless spirit - a true daredevil. He was very athletic and liked to run. He was extremely fast at the park or playground. At the park, you could always find him climbing to the very top of the two jungle gyms on opposite ends of the park, or swinging across the monkey bars like an acrobat. Ty'Shawn had no fear, only excitement, as he chased adventure. The world was his playground, and he explored it with wide eyes and boundless energy. He loved dinosaurs. When he wasn't playing outside, Ty'Shawn liked to watch PAW Patrol and police videos.

He attended Alpha Tots daycare and was set to start attending Willard Preschool this fall. Ty'Shawn loved to play and learn with all of his friends and fellow tots.

Ty'Shawn is survived by his mom, Libby; dad, Shawn; brother, Jeremiah; sister, Royalty; brother, Yo'Shawn; grandmothers: Tonya and Tinisha; grandpas, Brad and Tim; aunt, Brandy; uncles: Ben and Riley; cousins: Kaydence and Kenasunn; and so many other family members and loved ones.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his family: Michael Ray Blevins, Misty Michelle, Bob McCoy, John Michael, and Verlene McCoy, and his very special, Kitty.

A true Celebration of Life service with the sharing of happy stories and memories, dancing and singing of some of Ty'Shawn's favorite songs, will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2001 West Walnut Lawn Street, Springfield, Missouri.

Ty'Shawn's time on Earth was far too short, but he gave so much in those four beautiful years. His laughter, his hugs, his courage, his kindness - they will never be forgotten and will be forever part of his legacy. Ty'Shawn leaves behind memories filled with sunshine, monkey bars, dinosaurs, and the warmth of a heart too big for this world.

Ty'Shawn's care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. – DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.
