Vada LaFalce

Vada LaFalce, age 92, of Netcong, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville surrounded by her loving family.
Vada was born in Dover, New Jersey to the late Selbern and Martha Narby. She was a resident of Roxbury before becoming a lifelong resident of Netcong. In October 1953, Vada married the love of her life, Frank, and the two went on to have a beautiful 70 years of marriage. Vada had a long and successful career within the local school districts, and retired as the Superintendent Secretary for the West Morris High School in 1994.
Vada had many hobbies, and a natural talent for crocheting and knitting. She was known for her personalized Christmas Stockings, handmade for her friends and family. Vada was involved in the local community as a parishioner of St. Michaels Church and part of the Netcong-Stanhope Seniors for many years. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing a good game of mahjong, solving crossword puzzles, and cheering on the Yankees. Vada enjoyed her annual vacation with her family in Seaside Park, NJ.
She is survived by her spouse Frank LaFalce; four cherished children, Frank LaFalce Jr. (Susan), David LaFalce (Barbara), Vicki Grasso (Joseph), and Ellyn Norwillo (Daniel); four siblings, Eleanor Dyrness, Selbern Narby Jr., Judith Stover, Martie Lou Little; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. She is predeceased by her sister, Edna Narby.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16 from 2:00-4:30 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St., Netcong, NJ 07857. A Funeral Service will follow visitation starting at 4:30.
