Vickie Rae Fears, a beloved member of her community and cherished matriarch, departed this life on August 20, 2025, in Groves, Texas, having been born on April 2, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas. A woman of resolute faith, she was a devoted member of Ridgewood Baptist Church, where she contributed her time and spirit, embodying the values of kindness and service.

Vickie was known for her vibrant personality and myriad interests, including her love for crocheting and the thrill of bowling. She had an undeniable passion for life and held a special place in her heart for the Dallas Cowboys, whom she passionately supported. Her warmth and enthusiasm for these pursuits brought joy not only to her but also to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her family, which she treasured above all else, includes her devoted husband, Bill Fears of Groves. Vickie is mourned by her four sons: Lamar Hall, Jr. and his wife, Debra Hurst, of Groves; William H. Hall and his wife, Michelle, of Brookeland; William H. Fears, Jr. of Huntsville; and Tony Fears of Vidor. She is also survived by her daughter, Melissa Rae Osburn and her husband, Lucky of Silsbee, and her daughter Darla Campbell of Groves.

Additionally, her legacy continues through her six grandchildren: Amanda Harrington, Jessica Casaday, Marla Dixon, Brian Hall, Tommy Hall and Alyson Hall and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom filled her life with immeasurable pride and joy.

Vickie also shared a strong bond with her siblings: her brothers, Anthony John Arisco, Jr. and his wife, Julie; Buddy Arisco and his wife, Molly; and her sister, Mia Burd and her husband, Terry.   As well as Vickie's extended family, Margaret Arisco and her children, Davey Bowman, Phyllis & Scott Hoffpauir of Port Neches.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony John “Tony" Arisco, Sr. and Olive Arisco, and her son, Jon Damon Fears.
