Vincent Michael Willett

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Vincent Willett, on January 28, 2025.

Vince is survived by his mother, Margaret Willett, his brothers, Gregory and Andrew, his sister, Jennifer and her husband Patrick Watson. He loved his nephews Colin, Tristan, Ian and his niece Sharon. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Willett. Vince was loved and cherished, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Growing up in Manchester, he loved spending time outdoors with his siblings, riding bikes and sled-riding down the steep hills on his family's property. Vince moved to Fairlawn and graduated from Copley High School in 1996.

He was a long-time valued employee of Sam's Club, beloved by both coworkers and customers alike. So many people remember his kindness and helpfulness. His smile brought joy to everyone he met, and all remember how he brightened their day. His sarcastic T-shirts made many people laugh and he wore them often.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2nd from 2:00-6:00 pm at Hummel Funeral Home at 3475 Copley Road, Copley, OH 44321.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 3rd at 11:00 am at St. Hilary Catholic Church at 2750 West Market Street, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.

Interment will be immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery at 100 East Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.
