Wah Lung Wong

Wah Lung Wong, of Norwich, Connecticut, peacefully passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 68, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Wah was born in Fuzhou, Fujian province, China and moved to the United States in the 1980s in search of new opportunities. In the United States, he worked at various restaurants before settling in Connecticut and opening a restaurant of his own. He was adventurous, enterprising, and hard-working, and he had a dry sense of humor. Above all else, he always put his family first. He is survived–and immensely missed–by his wife, Feng Yin Zheng; his two daughters, Cai Ling Wang and her partner, Jamie, of Havertown, Pennsylvania and Qing Wai Wong and her fiancé, Justin, of Hamden, Connecticut; his granddaughter Matilda and grandson Bowen; his brothers, Hua Bao Wang and his wife, Soman, and Hua Ru Wang and his wife, Solai; his sister Wen Juan Wang and her husband, Chao; his sister-in-law Fung Yuk Cheng; his nephew-in-law Chunsun Wong; his nieces Felicity Wang and Daisy Wang; his nephews Ronald Ren and Ryan Ren; his great-nieces Evangeline Wong and Colline Wong; and his great-nephew Vincent Wong.
