Walter Magnus Obituary
He is survived by his beloved wife, Renetta Magnus; children, Mary Julia (Martin John) Venturini;
grandchildren, Michelle (Harry Smith) Evans, Timothy (Terry Hammond) Evans; greatgrandchildren, Hannah
Krall, Hayley Krall, Austin Statler; and niece Christine Magnus.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Mabel Magnus; and his brother Albert Magnus.
Wally was an avid golfer who worked at the Sanctuary, & was part of a minor league baseball team in the
Washington Senators organization. He was a part of the Bruins minor league hockey club. The Cubs, the
Chicago Bears, and the Blackhawks were his favorites. He loved to eat, loved his family, and especially
loved vacationing with his love Renee in the Caribbean.
Services will take place at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, in Frankfort with a memorial
visitation on Sunday, 17, 2023 from 1pm until the time of the memorial service at 5pm. In lieu of flowers
donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in Walter's name would be appreciated.
