Wanda Dickey Barnett, 71, of Roxboro, died Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Born in Durham County, Mrs. Barnett was the daughter of the late Clyde Egbert Dickey Sr. and Wilma Oakley Dickey. Wanda was a member of the Warren's Grove Methodist Church where she was a part of the Warren's Grove Women in Mission Civitan Club. She loved taking care of her family and cats Simon and Garfield. She also loved getting together with her church family and going to Myrtle Beach. In her free time, she enjoyed thrifting with her husband, watching her daytime soaps and working in her yard.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, Randall "Randy" Page Barnett; one son; Jeffrey Lane Barnett (Crystal); two step grandchildren, Lauren Roberson (Jonathan), Dustin Burrows (Joelle); four step great grandchildren, Colton, Jameson, Emberly and Josiah; three sisters, Linda Frazier (Tommy), Kay Rogers, Claudia Frazier (Timmy); one brother, Clyde Dickey Jr., two nieces and three nephews; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Ashley and his sons and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 4PM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Warren's Grove Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ann Benson officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held 3-3:45PM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Warren's Grove Church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Warren's Grove Methodist Church and the SPCA.
