John C. Weibrecht Jr., 76, of Dedham,
passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on December 08. Beloved
husband of the late Mary (Palmisciano) Weibrecht. Loving father of William J.
Weibrecht of Dedham, Melissa A. Colleton and her husband Ronald of Dedham,
Kellie M. Laguerre and her husband Winshell of Stoughton. Grandfather to Logan
and Amelia Weibrecht, Madison and Brooke Colleton, and Marcel Laguerre. Brother
of Stephen (Willie) Weibrecht of NH, Robert Weibrecht of FL (predeceased by
sister Lorraine Long and brother William Weibrecht), survived by several nieces
and nephews.
John started his career as a machine operator at Eastern Metal Mill Product Co.
of Dedham. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local Union 25 and was ultimately
promoted to the Director of Operations for the company. Late in his career, he
joined the Wellesley Public Schools Facilities Department retiring after 20
years. John was a Dedham Retired Men's Club member and had a lifelong love of
cars, never meeting one he couldn't fix. John spent most of his time with his
children and grandchildren at the family cottage and driving his Mustang
convertible down the back roads on a beautiful day.
Keeping with John's wishes, there are no services or gatherings planned. We
appreciate your understanding during this time. John asked that you clean your
car in memory of him. John felt strongly about giving back to help those in
need, especially children. This included yearly trips at Christmas time to give
those without means the chance to celebrate. Our family asks that expressions
of sympathy be given in John's memory to the organization The Home for Little
Wanderers, c/o Development Department, 72 E. Dedham Street, Boston, MA 02118
