Susan Carol (McEnaney) Faia, 74 of Lynn, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 19, 2024. Born in Lynn to the late Thomas and Josephine McEnaney, Susan attended St. Joseph's School and graduated from Lynn English High School. She was the loving wife of 52 years of Charles D Faia.
Susan worked as a bookkeeper for Parsons and Faia Inc. for many years, and then later in life she became a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked at Devlin Nursing Home and then Abbott House Nursing Home in Lynn. She also worked for the Lynn Housing Authority, where she retired from. She was very involved with Holy Family Church as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved to travel with her husband Chuck, especially cruising.
Susan is survived by her husband Charles, her two sons; Jeffrey Faia, Daniel Faia and his wife Andrea, 3 grandchildren and their spouses, two great granddaughters, her brother William McEnaney, brother-in-law Dominic Russo as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Tom, Dan, Joanne and AnnMarie.
Visitation for Susan will be held on Friday December 27, 2024 from 4-7PM at SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME 67 Ocean St. (Rt1A) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's name may be made to Care Dimensions at www.Caredimensions.org.
