She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Theola Barnickle and her husband, Maynard Lambertus, and brothers Joe and Fred Barnickle and sister Dorothy Gerdon.
She is survived by their two children: Mark Lambertus (Karen) and Rhonda Owen. Surviving also are grandchildren Melissa Lambertus, Zachary Lambertus, and Andrea Villarubia, and great-grandchildren Max and Druscilla Villarubia, and a sister Anna Mary Hussung (Barnickle).
Willie was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran church in Lanesville, a member of the Martha society and the quilters group at the church.
She was a long-time member of the Lanesville heritage weekend.
She worked at Belknap hardware co. and was a cook for many years at the Laneville schools working with crafts was her passion and she founded "country crafts" with her friend Dorothy Hussung. She very much enjoyed traveling with Maynard to many r.e.m.c. conventions all over the United States. She loved spending time with her family preparing dinners every holiday season.
Life on the family farm was a great joy to her where she engaged in canning and preserving food from her garden. but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her the most joy in her life.
Willie and Maynard celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2022 and lived a wonderful life together they gave much to their church, family, and community and will be greatly missed by all of us.
