William Robert Alberd, 82, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center.
William was born on November 20, 1939, in Dickson, TN to the late William Carl Alberd and Mattie Lee Hayes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, William Wayne Alberd, James Robert Alberd; sisters, Margaret Sylvis, Willie May Lewis, Gracie (Gary) Gentry and Betty Ruth (Robert) Horner; brothers-in-laws, Vernon Breeden, and William Sensing. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Alberd; daughters, Virginia "Jenny" Franklin, Donna Kaye Richardson (Jerry Stitt), Carla Diane (James) Luna; brother, Harold Wayne (Shirley) Alberd; sisters, Dot Breeden, Linda Lou Sensing; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 20 nieces and nephews.
William was a devoted and loving Son, Brother, Father, Husband, and Friend. He loved his family and his 4 dogs and 2 cats. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
A Celebration of William's Life will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Edwards officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM till 8:00 PM and Friday, November 11, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Ever Rest of Cheatham, in Pleasant View, TN.
Pallbearers will be James Breeden, Jason Haight, Jason Johnson, Tristian Spann, Curtis Breeden, Nathanial Mills, Cameron Franklin, and Taylor Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers are Carlton Alberd and Jeff Horner.
