William Bryan Bandy, our beloved PePop, 61 of Pembroke, Virginia departed this life December 13, 2024. Bryan was born in February 1963 to Billy Bernard (Sharon) Bandy of Pearisburg, Virginia, and the late Betty Riddle Hamblin (Tuck) of Pembroke, Virginia.
He leaves to cherish his wife, Jackie of Pembroke, Virginia; two children, Brandon Bandy of Charlotte, and Danielle (Wesley) Woodyard of Narrows, Virginia; his adoring grandchildren, Maddox, Pierce, Taylor, and Barret; siblings, Michael (Leslie) Bandy of Eggleston, Sharon (Billy) Dudding of Pembroke; nephews and nieces, Chanler Bandy, Jeffrey Smith, Justin Smith, Jacob Bandy, Trevor Dudding, Tracey Dudding; and a special uncle, Roger (Cyndee) Bandy of Florida.
He is preceded in death by a special aunt, Shirley Ritter.
Bryan was a graduate of the Giles High School Class of 1981. His lifelong passion of hunting truly shines in his dedication of time to his children and especially his grandchildren. As a novice farmer, PePop showed true emotion when caring for animals. His humor shown when you caught him on an unexpected adventure. He was deeply loved and already missed.
The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Kendall Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Poff officiating. Funeral services will conclude in Birchlawn Burial Park where he will be laid to rest. A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Bandy family.
