William Howard "Bill" Bentley

William "Bill" Howard Bentley, 61, of Lakeside Park, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 6, 1963, in Covington, KY, Bill was the beloved son of Erealyn and the late Benjamin "Buddy" Bentley. A lifelong Kentuckian, Bill was known for his deep love of family, sharp wit, and generous spirit. He proudly dedicated 33 years as a member of the Covington Turner Society, forging many friendships and memories along the way. Bill was never happier than when he was surrounded by his grandchildren, cheering them on at their sporting events and cherished family gatherings. A man of many interests, Bill enjoyed fishing on quiet mornings, hitting the golf course with friends, attending local turkey shoots, and feeling the roar of engines at dirt track car races with his family. A passionate sports fan, he was always ready for a lively debate-especially when it came to his favorite teams. Though Bill wore many hats throughout his life, his favorite role by far was being "Paw Paw." He treasured every moment with his grandchildren and poured his heart into creating special memories with them. Bill is survived by his loving mother, Erealyn Bentley; his son, Brad (Krista) Bentley; daughter, Shana Bentley; brother, Robert "Bobby" (Crissy) Bentley; sister, Angela (Jack) Jones; and grandchildren: Jordan Froelicher, Dylan Mahon, Braxton Bentley, Ella Bentley, Wyatt Hite, and Waylon Hite. He is also survived by nephews Cole Bentley, Drew (Sevana) Wiesner, and Eric Wiesner; nieces Grace Bentley and Faith Bentley; great-nephew: Easton Wiesner and a large extended family of cousins who were as close as siblings. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. (Noon) until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at the Highland Cemetery Chapel, 2167 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Those who knew Bill will remember him for his big heart, his love of a good story or laugh, and his unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
