William Wharton Booth of Abita Springs, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the age of 66. William was a native of Houston, TX where he was born to Horace W. Booth and Maurine Johnson Booth. Bill was a proud Sales Manager for LAS Enterprise and was also a D.J. for many years known as “Karaoke Bill.” Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 24, years, Saundra Bennett Booth, and his loving dog, Maizy. He dearly loved his family: brother Tom Booth (Kathy) of Houston, TX; sister, Courteney Hayden of TX; as well as Lynne Cassaro (Marc) of Hammond, LA, Charlene Vance of Covington, LA, Jennifer Sprouse (David) of Gretna, LA, and Tiffany Broussard (Keith) of Terrytown, LA. Bill loved and enjoyed his home and many friends in Money Hill where he will be sorely missed.
Per his and his family’s wishes, he will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
These services have been entrusted to Bagnell and Son Funeral Home and Crematory.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
