William "Bill" F. Drohan Sr., 92 of Nashua, passed away at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Thursday, November 28, 2024. He was born July 13, 1932 in Boston, MA to the late John and Genevieve (Ryer) Drohan.
Growing up, Bill graduated from Winthrop High School, before going on to receive his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. William also spent time serving in thew United States Coast Guard, during peacetime. For over 50 years, Bill was an Insurance Sales Agent, working for himself. He was the beloved husband of Lucy (Smith) Drohan, before her passing in 2013.
In his free time, William was an avid dancer, always looking to show off his moves. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to his favorite place Aruba. In his younger years, he loved to bowl, as well as playing cards, especially poker. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends the most.
Bill is survived by his three children; Robert Drohan and his wife Teresa of FL, Scott Drohan of Nashua, and Stephen Drohan of Hudson; his step-daughter, Deborah Silver, his four grandchildren Lauren, Justin, Cameron, and Nicole; his two great grandchildren Noella and Connor; as well as his sister June Watkins of Winthrop, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas.
There will be no formal services at this time. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Hudson, NH in the spring with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in William's name to the Nashua Humane Society https://www.hsfn.org/donate-now/
