The family is hosting a visitation from 6-8 p.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18,2025. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Wolfe Funeral Home.
Born in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of Barry Wilson Faile and the late Jessie Holt Faile. He was a graduate of Fort Mill High School and was a member of the marching band for 4 years where he won 3 state championships, and 1 state runner up. He was also a member of Northside Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. He was a huge Gamecocks fan and enjoyed watching the Duke Blue Devils, the Dallas Cowboys, and his alma mater, Fort Mill High School Yellow Jackets. He was an avid sports fan, loved listening to music, working on his puzzle books, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, Barry Wilson Faile, surviving is his sister, Sharon Faile; aunt, Ellen Strickland; and his five cousins: Kimberly Campbell, Brenda Helms, Michael Helms, James Helms, and Jimmy Helms. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Holt Faile; brother Barry Wilson Faile Jr; his paternal grandparents, Dewey and Elnora Faile; his maternal grandparents, Sidney and Eva Holt and two adoptive children, Lisa Taylor and Audrey McClain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the South Carolina Special Olympics.

I will always cherish my memories growing up with the Faile family. I was always with Sharon, Sid and Audrey playing. I could have not asked for better friends who felt more like siblings to grow up with. Sending love and prayers to Barry and Sharon.
