William Don Gregory “Bully,” 74, of Texas City, Passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in League City with his family by his side.
“Bully” was born July 4, 1951 in Texas City to Aubrey and Susie Gregory. He was a shrimper for over 40 years, some of his happiest moments were spent fishing with family and friends, laughing and swapping stories. He also loved sitting around barefoot with a cold Dr. Pepper in hand.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Susie Gregory; brother, Curley Gregory, and sister, Dianna Liening.
Bully leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Sherry Whitehead and husband Vernon, Karen Baker, Rhonda Parker and husband John, and Wanda Osteen; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and special friends, Hollie, Allen and Ann. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
Pallbearers are John Parker, Jr. Jimmy Osteen, Dakota Whitehead, Jaykob Parker, Craig Sossner, Charlie Hemmeline, and Gary Chambers.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at La Marque Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2025 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.
