Yvonne Bratcher Obituary
Yvonne Bratcher, 70, of Burbank passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Yvonne was born on September 28, 1953, in Wadsworth, Ohio to Ralph and Catherine (Brumfield) Wellman. Yvonne graduated from Cloverleaf High School in the class of '72. On June 12, 1993, she married Larry Bratcher and together they would make their home in Burbank, Ohio until Larry's passing on November 9, 2023. Yvonne was a beloved bank teller & manager at First Federal/Signal Bank in the Village of Seville for 15 years and volunteered for many years with the Seville Kiwanis Club. She most recently worked for Wooster Community Hospital where she was an insurance biller for 11 years until her retirement in 2014. Yvonne was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Seville and served as Treasurer for a time. She was a member of the local TOPS Club through which she developed many close friendships. In her free time, Yvonne enjoyed going antiquing, vacationing in the mountains of Gatlinburg, TN, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She especially cherished holiday gatherings and loved decorating her home for the occasions.
Yvonne is survived by her daughters Amber (Bret) Ross Wiley of Medina and April Ross of Wadsworth; step-children Lori Crabtree of Orrville, Julie McConnell of Wellington, Angie Bratcher of Orrville, and Adam (Elena) Bratcher of Litchfield; grandchildren Elliot and Maeve Wiley; step-grandchildren Jac and Ben Crabtree, Cooper and Addison McConnell, Eric and Shelton Smothers, and Kayleigh, Elliana and Waylon Bratcher; sister Judy (Curt) Wilson of Sterling; nieces Candace (Travis) Harmon and Amanda (Will) Wilson; great-nieces Riley Harmon and Ava and Stella Wilson; longtime friends Robert and Diane Copley, Diane's sons Jeff (Joanna) Moody and Michael (Melissa) Moody and Robert and Diane's daughter (Yvonne's goddaughter) Lindsey (Mike) Cugini.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Bratcher and her parents.
Services will be Monday, July 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Tom Churma officiating. Burial will follow at Seville Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until time of services on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101.
