Colleen Hirschey Obituary
Colleen Mae Hirschey, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2020 after recently beginning treatment for breast cancer and other health issues. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Derstine. She is survived by her husband, David; son Sawyer; daughter Taylor Hirschey; sister Carol Kenny; sister Kyle Catanzarite and husband Bob; mother-in-law, Karen Hirschey; brother-in-law, Bob Hirschey; brother-in-law Scott Hirschey and wife Diane. She is also survived by six nephews and nieces, Daniel Hirschey, Andrew Hirschey, Katie Hirschey, Danielle Hirschey, Cori Pertunnen and husband Greg, and Alexa Catanzarite. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3803 W. Lake Houston Pkwy., Kingwood, TX

Our dearest Colleen you are loved and will be deeply missed. One of our Bunco Babes for 24 years - so many years of laughter, tears, and many months of pure enjoyment. Always a gracious hostess and never missed our monthly get-togethers. I will miss your funny stories and how you squeezed the Bunco dice. Until we meet again XOXO, Kathy

Our dear friend was an active member of our Bunco group for the last 24 years.. in that time we saw our kids grow and we faced together the stages of life. We laughed, told stories came to each others aid, in the good moments and the challenging ones. Our dear Colleen is leaving a void in us, her warm personality and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Until we see each other again please keep an eye on us dear friend.
Our love and heartfelt condolences to Dave, Taylor and Sawyer as well as her extended family. We are grieving with you.
