Eleanor Ruth Thompson Petty was born September 26, 1931 in Shallotte, North Carolina to James and Leona Thompson and passed away February 21, 2016 in New Caney, Texas at the age of 84. Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Faye Thompson Hewitt. She is survived by two daughters; Donna Adams and husband Win and Tena Bonnet; five grandchildren, Win Adams, Jr., Katie Adams, Neal Bonnet, Kevin Bonnet and Ryan Bonnet and numerous other family and friends. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at North Park Christian Church in Kingwood, TX.
