Frances Groves Obituary

Memorial Service for Frances Marie Groves, 76, of Conroe, Texas will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Chaplain John Downs officiating.

Frances was born on January 16, 1945 to John E. Pullman and Frances M. Pullman (Thompson). She passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 with family by her side. Frances met and married her soulmate James Groves in South Bend, Indiana. They lovingly raised their two daughters Cheryl and Deborah, and they moved to Texas as soon as the opportunity arose. Family was the most important thing to Frances. Her life revolved around her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family's happiness is what made her thrive, especially when she was doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! She volunteered for many years with her husband for The New Waverly Lions Club helping the community. Frances took pride in her family and their accomplishments. At the end of the day, Frances made sure her family wanted for nothing, and that her home was filled with faith, love, warmth, and happiness.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, John E. Pullman and Frances M. Pullman (Thompson) and her husband of 54 years, James Groves in 2019.

Frances is survived by her loving family: sister, Jean Pullman; sister-in-law, Joan Hammer; daughters, Cheryl Groves and Deborah Dennis and husband, Arthur; grandchildren, Kasey Lamoreau and husband Kurt, Cory Koch and wife, Mango, Kacie Morgan and husband, Dane and Evan Groves; great grandchildren, Kaden Lamoreau, Korbin Lamoreau, Hoyt Morgan and Beau Koch; numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

The family would like to thank Priyanka Johri and the caregivers at Acorn Manor for the loving and compassionate care they provided Frances in the last few months of her life.

Life is flying by at such super speed. Every day new achievements and disappointments, I know you see them all, but I wish you were here sometimes to help ease my mind. Evan is turning into such a responsible young man. I am so proud of him. It's thanks to you his patience and character are so strong. I know you will keep your heavenly guidance on him as he continues on his journey thru life. Surely you're up there CELEBRATING Kasey's latest accomplishments! The bond you two share assures me love never ends and continues on after life and you will be with her as she receives her hard earned degree and becomes the compassionate, loving teacher you always knew she would be. I love you mom, thank you for keeping watch over the family.

A special bond that spans the
years,
through laughter, worry, smiles, and tears.
A sense of trust that can't be broken,
A depth of love sometimes unspoken.
A lifelong friendship built on sharing,
Hugs and kisses, warmth and caring.
Mother and daughter, their hearts as one -
A link that can never be undone.

Mom your missed so much! I know you're watching & guiding from above. I hope you know how much you're loved. I find solace in the knowledge we will be together again someday.
