John H. Day, 79, of Atascocita, Texas entered Heaven's gate on Saturday, March 12, 2016. He has one surviving brother, Steven Day. He was the beloved husband of Suzet Brunner Day for 58 years. John and Susan were the loving parents of six beautiful children: Carol, Linda, Sondra, Jacqueline, Sharon, and Christopher. They, also, were proud of their six grandchildren: Patrick, Jacob, Lindsey, Joshua, Andrea, and Matthew.
John was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on February 5, 1937 to Mabel and Herbert Day. He graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University in 1960. Then, he was a Senior Research and Development Engineer for 53 years.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel at the First United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Leukemia Department of MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.
