Mrs. Joyce V. Nantz, a resident of Kingwood, TX the last twenty years, died peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born on July 31, 1933 in Ashtabula, OH. Prior to residing in Kingwood she lived in Sylvania, OH raising her family. She worked for The University of Toledo until retiring in 1995. Joyce was an avid bridge player and achieved her goal of becoming a Life Master in 1985. Joyce is survived by her daughter Christine Comstock (Brian) of San Diego, CA, son David Nantz of Phoenix, AZ and son Robert Nantz (Jessica) of Kingwood, TX. She has two grandsons Michael and Steven Comstock living in New York, NY. She is also survived by her brothers Dr. Robert Silverberg (Barb) of Ruskin, FL, Arne Silverberg (Dailene) of Grants Pass, OR and Sister Beverly Steinat of Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband David S. Nantz, parents Arne and Hilda Silverberg and sister Carol Lawrence. The family would like to thank Kimberly and her staff at The Isle at Kingwood and Tri-Care Hospice for the wonderful care she received in her final weeks. Memorial tributes may be given to The Arthritis Foundation.
