Laura was a sweet, loving person. I had the pleasure of enjoying Laura in our family as my brothers long time best friend for almost two decades. Linda, thanks for the words and I wanted to let you know that a service will be held for Laura Sat. 1/13/2018 at Darst Funeral Home. A guest book is there also.

Many friends and family may wonder why we never got married. I think we didn't want to screw up the best friendship ever. Laura was my best friend, we helped each other, loved each other and shared many good times together. Hunting, fishing, camping spending time with baby girl Emma (Grandbaby). We drank a few beers during those good times. Laura was the most amazing person I have ever known. She adopted Angelica and Elizabeth and gave them all she could, most important her love. She raised Emma to the age of four and half years old while going thru Kemo and Radiation, working at Stewart Title (one hour drive one way on a good day). This woman was amazing!! We talked a lot about the future, retirement and taking care of each other. I miss Laura and I think I always will.
