Lucy Emry Hack passed away on Saturday, November 12 at the age of 85. She is survived by her son Edmund and his wife Maryann of Houston, son Charles of Denver, son David of Austin, brother Stuart and his wife Sue of Pittsburgh, PA, and grandchildren Megan, Samantha, Avery, and Jade. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Lee R. Hack, a podiatrist who practiced at Northeast Medical Center in Humble. She lived in Kingwood from 1974 to 2015. While in Kingwood, she was active in Hi Neighbor, Antiques Club, Garden Club, several book clubs, and the local AAUW chapter. She was also very involved in the Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center. Family Time honored her as 1999 Woman of Achievement for the Humble-Kingwood Area, Woman's Advocate.
A graduate of Indiana University, she pledged Alpha Chi Omega sorority, was a member for over 60 years, and active in alumni affairs in Houston. In the 1960s, she was president of the Harris County Podiatry Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Family Time Foundation, P.O Box 893 Humble, TX 77347.

How very sorry I am to read of the sad loss ofLucy. In your moments of sorrow remember that God does hear your prayer and is there to revive your spirit and your crushed heart. Please accept my condolences. (Isaiah 57:15).
