Robert Lee Schoellman, Sr.(82) of Porter TX. passed on to his next home in heaven on March 10th, 2017 at Kingwood Medical Center. He was surrounded by a huge number of family and friends as he made that journey. Robert was born in Nada, TX on February 25th, 1935 to parents Hubert Edward and Mary Elizabeth Schoellman. Robert was a veteran, a steel worker for most of his life and a loving husband to Juanice Schoellman. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and of course working in his yard. Robert is survived by his wife Juanice, children: Geneva Robuck, Robert Schoellman, Jr. Peggy Sue Carpenter, Tina Tobias and Hubert Edward Schoellman, as well as 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, sisters: Louise Tawater, Irene LaFonck and, Pauline Hight. Robert was preceded in death by sisters: Mary Stephens, Cleo Brown, Lois Vaughn and brothers Howard Schoellman and Danny Schoellman as well as son-in-law: Steve Carpenter, and granddaughter Jessica Tobias. Services were held at First Baptist Church Porter where Robert was a member. Interment: Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble TX.
