Rodney Karonika Obituary
Rodney was born on March 10th, 1979 in Conroe, Texas to Chester and Margie Karonika. He graduated from Willis High School in 1996 and received a BBA in Finance at Sam Houston State University in 2004. He started his own business after graduation, Karonika Construction Co., where his passion of wood work, led to a thriving business, while giving him the ability to pursue his other passion of being outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, builder and a loyal friend to all who met him.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday night, May 20th, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21st, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with burial following services at Shephard Hill in Willis, Texas. You are invited to leave a written condolence on our website at www.shmfh.com. Flowers or donations may be sent to Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis.

To Rodney’s parents. I am a friend of Danielle Powers. She asked me to come with her to visit Rodney. I brought water from Lourdes France where this healing water is at. OurLady of Lourdes. We both prayed and I anointed his head and his abdomen. Rodney was very receptive. Also I brought prayer cards to St Pergrine patron st. Of cancer and another prayer. I told your son that Mary promises with this Lourdes water you will be healed could be physical or healing in another way. He understood. I could tell what a very wonderful man he was. I had the honor of meeting him and praying with him. Rest In Peace Rodney. May perpetual light shine upon him. Karen Ruffner
