Samuel Perez Alaniz, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home in Porter, Texas. He was born on October 26, 1931 in Eden, Texas to Frank Martinez and Emilia Perez.
Sammie grew up in San Angelo, Texas. He worked to obtain an automotive technical degree. After College, Sammie worked as a mechanic fixing cars. His love for cars and his people skills kept him busy as a reliable mechanic. Sammie had a passion for fixing and restoring vehicles.
Sammie was a member of New Caney Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed cars, watching various sporting events especially wrestling, long drives, eating out, shopping and spending time with his family. He loved large family gatherings and barbeques. Sammie was always joking and laughing with the kids and will always be remembered for his love of them.
Sammie married his recent wife Margarita Perales in New Caney, Texas on June 6, 1990. They were happily married for 25 years.
Sammie is survived by his spouse, Margarita Alaniz; his brother, Moise Martinez; his sisters: Paula Delgado and Lidia Delgado; his children: Mario and Vera Alaniz, Rene and Carla Alaniz, Juan and Sabrina Perales, Agustine Adame and Dena Richardson; Maria and Israel Cano, Angelica Alaniz, Bertha Alaniz; his grandchildren: Caleb Richardson, Katherine Caywood-McDonald, Jailyn Perales, Stephanie Ventura, Tori Perales, Xavier Perales, Robert and Tanya Alaniz, Sheridan and Ruben Luna, Samuel and Josann Alaniz, Shantell Alaniz, Joel Alaniz, Chad Alaniz, Samuel Alaniz, Jessica Alaniz, Tiffany Alaniz, Samuel Alaniz, Joel Alaniz; His great grandchildren: Cody, Tristan, Cheyenne, Patience, Michaela, Mario, Jeremiah, Owen, Colton, Chase, Mckinzy, Braylen, Alexa, Mark, Gabby, Briana, Michael; and his loving nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
