I only knew Bill through events at various charities and working with him through the Visitors Bureau. He always had a smile and was that type of person who you gravitate to. I will miss you Bill. For his family, I wish you love and happy memories of such a wonderful person.

Since moving to Florida, Jennie and I have missed being at Dan's for Bill's wonderful hospitality. We will miss seeing Bill at his "post" as greeter and maitre-D at Dan's. He will surely be missed by so many family, friends and customers. Bill was truly "one of a kind"

Bill, you were always a kind and generous soul. I remember growing up together in Stony Creek and hearing you practice your trumpet often. I was so glad we remained friends and for your support of the visitors bureau as well. I will miss our phone conversations and being your date at times for events :) I always enjoyed that. I'm glad my mom and your mom remain friends and have become even closer over the last few months. You always told me how much you loved my mom and how funny she was...she will be there for your mom now. You will be so missed for so many reasons, but mostly for that beautiful smile. Love and blessings to you and your family, Crystal

Linda and I met him years ago when he and Monir first acquired Dans. He was always gregarious and welcoming, voluble, cheerful, smart, and unfailingly friendly. We enjoyed sitting with him at a table in the restaurant, or at our house, schmoozing about virtually everything! He was a very nice man, and he will be truly missed. Our very sincere condolences to the entire family.

Bill has been a good friend and a brother/uncle since we were young and living on Mulberry Street. Even though we lived a thousand miles apart, we were able to keep in contact. It was always a pleasure when we were able to be together and share stories and adventures. Bill was always full of life and optimism. We send out our prayers to his family. He will be greatly missed. He left us too soon, but his love and friendship will live on through our memories.
